just run docks there (or better tidal island) till he is level 2.

then put him in your hideout and do the dailies (which seems to scale from his level not from your ingame charlevel) there. once your char is better equipped or GGG fixes that OPie stuff (like hakus falling rocks) you can do him safe on merci difficulty.

i think mine is now lv4 and i still didnt got dailies which i cant do from him...not sure what happens if he is lv6+.
