How did you discover Path of Exile

From Kripp's channel, I was already done with D3 and playing GW2 waiting for something else. I tried PoE during an Open Beta week-end in september 2012, and never really left since then ^^.

I saw an advertisement of PoE at a porn site.

Viral marketing at 4chan.

Can't remember. All I know is that my friend told me about a game that was going to have a huge skill tree. It completely slipped out of my mind and a few months later I was playing Path, a week after OB started.

When I told him about this game I was playing with a massive skill tree he was like "That's the game I was telling you about!" and what he said a few months prior came back to me.

Friend read about it. We started just before anarchy.

Found it mentioned on a gaming forum when they were selling closed beta keys for $10.

Bought a key, was thouroghly impressed and addicted, upgraded to Kiwi pack and have loved the game since. But currently I'm bored until the next expansion comes.

A thread on mmo champion some time in 2011, seen it pop up a few time there and after seeing what they were doing with the skill tree and skills i signed up...was incredibly lucky to snag a closed beta key when someone posted their invite a friend one shortly after joining.
