Strongboxes = good. Atziri out of my reach and as a HC player probably always will be. Don't mind that at all though I think it's good for a game to have some things out of reach. I skip most all corrupted zones now, not worth the risk on HC. I'd maybe start farming them if I wanted atziri. Invasion was just far too painful. Vaal orbs are interesting, pretty happy with em. Vaal gems have been pretty useless for me. I'd like to see them revamped somehow.

This expansion was a motherfucking failfest. For me.
First there is retarded RNG for even try to fight a new boss. Then there was rewards for first 50 who made. We saw how kills were sold by nolifers, and GGG acknowleged that achivements. From that moment on every time i see word "competitive" used in same sentance with "Path Of Exile" i laugh. Then we have a boss. Artificially "hardened" by immunities and spike damage. For me, such design - is a scream of despair from devs. They wanted to make something challanging, but were screwed by their own previous decisions and made pure gearcheck, which could be stomped with specific ammount of abuse, or couldn't be done at all. Vaal orbs were fun if used properly
Corrupted areas were useless for average crowd ( lvl 80 ). They had a small role in grinding some exalts ( 5 sets for 4 ex for an average of 4-5 days of grinding ).The mask pieces have a horrible RNG mechanic. I've realized that GGG thinks we are dumb at best.... Atziri........not for casuals. The fight is catered towards players with BIS items. I don't play leagues, so i can't say much about them, except that maybe all the areas start to look more and more like maps ( random mobs+random bosses+random stats +++) The expansion didn't brought any new content at all. No new areas, quests, ( only 1 mob type to the pool), no new base items... Overall i was deeply disappointed. I like the game a lot , but I'm afraid that if this expansion will go the same way i'll take a long brake from playing this game until at least Act4... SOTV was a MEH addition
pushing the game toward further elitism with the Atziri runz semi-bad design vaal gems which should see their counter reset each instance, have stacks for some and have the counter based on the Gem level rather than the difficulty level for some gems ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

last expansion for me
-invasion bosses : lets just not talk about these -strongboxes : very cool, although mostly due to the free loot. -atziri : not done not interested. Imo mmorpg stuff like this is not a good addiction -corrupted areas : useless if you arent farming atziri, also dangerous in hc -vaal skills : They can have a niche use in builds but overall a bit underwhelming. Everything except Atziri is fine for me because I can actually do them. Atziri? nop cant unless I play path of trading first or get super lucky with drops, thats way out of my reach. Its bad enough that you need pretty good gear for it but you also need the correct build.
