This looks like a large amoutn of effort. And pretty much everything I have read is broken.

If these are the changes you want then it seems you may be playing the wrong game, because this would make content 20 levels above you a joke with just one of the items
I find it slightly funny that OP didn't even think of poor Shockwave Totem in his buff list; it really is the skill nobody loves. :'(

Making traps TRAPS not something you throw into enemy face is in fact decent idea. If you want grenade, just do grenade, traps and mines can have current damage multiplier but laying a trap of mine should be really long process, and they should be really used like traps or mines, to be laid in ambush and being used tactically, not just as free damage multiplier.

^just rename everything. All traps become "grenades," and all mines become "traps."

Sleep deprived rant: Actually a grenade support would be a wicked kind of cool. Only pops after a duration, throw speed as a function of distance thrown, bounces at its speed until it loses momentum or the duration expires, hold down the skill key to "cook" it for a second or two for more control where it lands; skill based targeting with damage output to match its difficulty of use. Plus the client prediction model would just have so much fun predicting where it'd land ^-^
