This may be a noob question, but why run the Blood Magic passive tree node and then also spend skill gem slots with it? Are using both not redundant?

They are redundant. I used the Gems therefore and saved the skill-points.

Few minor changes in playstyle:

Hatred/HoI/HoA

CWDT Warlords for majority of Endurance Charges (3)
Blood Rage for Frenzy Charges (5)

Oak/Kraityn/Kraityn

Currently at 64, and mostly feels pretty good. Level 80+ will be a better test though.
