What it all comes down to is this: "Do you want to be a monster, or do you want to live?" You have a choice, with willpower you can work towards what you want, but do seek the true answer inside you before walking down that road. Willpower is a doubled edged sword, it can make you a monster if your pride does not allow you to see beyond your own ego.

Can't become what we have always been, since the first night we dreamed of shadows and creatures. We are both the monster, and the mother/father of nature. The giver and the taker - all within the bounds of our own choices. I don't resort to good/bad because that's subjective and about our petty experiences we never have full control over; consequences are natural results that occur when wrong is always wrong, and nobody in their right mind can deflect physical results, just like a math problem can not be solved any other way than its natural ways - no amount of denial or excuse will allow the child to cheat their way past that, while good/bad are cheated all the time by sociopaths and serial killers. Consequences, on the other hand, are inescapable.

Again, I'm the victim - I will always be the victim. This is about me, but the result I yearn and wish for is the people that make my life the living hell that it is simply because they do not want to deal with their mental damnation. These people know deep down that in the recesses of our minds, there lies a heart of darkness that creates terror beyond our imagination - I was living in this heart for a whole month, where I learned and fought more than I have learned and fought my entire life in reality.

Why do wars exist? The general population.

Why do child sex rings exist? The general population.

Why did one king beat one town? The general population.

Why did Hitler almost take over the world? The general population.

Why do people have so many mental disorders and psychical problems? The general population.

Why do people live in a world built on nightmares, not dreams? The general population.

Why do people thrive off of pollution? The general population.

Who is dealing with the general population? Great minds that gained knowledge that demonstrated how many times over they have out-grown the mental capacity of the general population. And serial killers, which are really the result of intelligence becoming mad and taking that madness out on the general population for sport and their last whisper of life. Every serial killer beneath their crime have much truth to speak - if you simply listen.
