ReverendBizzarre: ele cleave templar [6k life, 45k+ dps]

I finally got my hands on a life leech last night and even at level 1 it's been very helpful. A definite upgrade to the life on hit gem I was using. Between that and maxing my lightning resist I was able to get through the barracks and temple last night. I died at Piety but I'm blaming that on lag.

Hey, Vic. I had a question concerning your Ele cleave build. Would it be possible to do this build as a witch going HP instead of ES? Would like to do Molten Shell/Arc on Spell Totem with the cleave. Not sure if it's worth it as you waste a couple of points along the way.

Huge update, did a lot of trading today (mostly got rid of the uniques I will never use) and bought myself a nice chest so I can finally run Life Leech with Cleave.
Now I am running Cleave with Blood Magic, which allows me to run 5 auras at the moment (Anger, Wrath on Blood Magic as well; Determination, Purity, and Vitality on Mana, but I might decide to go ditch Vitality for Haste later).

Also while farming Fellshrine I found a new helm which is pretty nice.

My resists sit at 20/80/70 right now. I am planning to go down to Iron Reflexes now, so I can run Grace and get more armor.

Any suggestions?

Does this build work in end game maps? i have played it to level 40 so far and its going well, although im struggling to see how i wont be one shot in maps?

My Ele cleave died to dogs at 53, anyways anyone know nugi setup he is doing with ele cleave in race atm?

He is doing my build but he took EB and then he took the shadow route through the right to Iron Reflexes, i havent logged in for a few days now, missed out on some stuff it seems.

Around something like this:Passive skill tree build
Not sure if he is going to take RT or crit chance though, i would personally go RT since its much more reliable and safe for HC

Basically a combination between my shadow cleave and my templar cleave, should probably work okay for him.

Thanks for posting - I followed this guide for my first decent character. I'm just about to hit 60 and am not sure where to go next. Static blows? Inner Force? More defence?

Current Passive Skill Tree

I've just got to the waypoint at the start of a2 merciless, I'm playing softcore, so I skipped some of the earlier HP nodes to make it easier to get thick skin. Any death is starting to hurt XP though these days.

Gear is just what I've found. Currently sitting at:
Cleave - 1.8k dps (cleave, wep ele dmg, faster attacks, mana leech)
Armour - 4k with grace
Life - 2.7k
Resists - 75/65/75/-60
Auras - Vitality, Rage, Wrath, Grace - all lvl 14 (have purity at same level but can't support it - just switched it out for vitality because my resists were 'ok').

My gear is

My current problem damage, I cant seem to do any damage I am currently level 66 with around 1600 cleave dps, I know that my weapons are a big issue, been trying to buy good ele weps for the past 3 days but every one seems to be afk :|.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Passive Tree

Your path is next to all of the elemental damage nodes i took in the guide and the build... maybe take them if you're not doing enough dps? its pretty bleedin obvious, they're right there, 60% weapon elemental damage in 6 levels.

Get faster weapons with higher elemental damage, you can probably find some pretty decent ones on the forums.

Try to get a 5l-6l chest and slap in concentrated effect with cleave for large dps.

That would be about it i assume, also dont forget to focus on survivability as well when you improve your gear, high level area mobs do massive damage so you have to be prepared by then.
