My first guess would be that it has lost a bit of viability over the previous version, due to the nerf of Dual Strike going from 90% to 85% damage effectiveness. Since damage was already on the low side due to the aura nodes nerf in the previous version, it will be even lower in this version. Unless the new tree frees up some nodes to spent on damage. But I can't answer that question, since I've never tried this build before.

My life/es based version of the build (which honestly feels like path of life nodes) went from 28.5k to 24k dps, which is quite the nerf when relying so heavily on decent damage for your life leech. On the other hand, my life pool went from 5.8k to 6.8k, and even >7.4k when equipping belly of the beast.

Es version is rip , doing now life version with maradeur , 79 lvl hp now 4400 with Belly 4900, but i can not have 5l belly now , 19 k dps whith 5l , use 4 auras hartred pur fire, lighting ,can switch grace -haste.
