Garena is adding skill tree resets as a micro transaction in 1.1.3. Thoughts?

1. Garena caters to the SEA-region. If you don't play there, how will it affect you?
2. Skill reset micro transaction will not affect anybody besides the character who pays for it. It does not affect ingame item in ANYWAY. I don't care if the price of regret orbs will increase or decrease. It doesn't matter! An analogy: Hey that guy is eating potato chips WTF here i'm eating healthy stuff and doing my body building and that stupid guy is eating chips? REALLY. Please use your brains. Micro transaction for resetting passive will not affect the game in anyway. It doesn't give anybody an advantage since you can farm regret orbs easily. |

" How will it not effect the game in any way. If they released that MTX here then regrets value would drop 10 fold. That effects EVERY player in the game. adania/93 --- ElementalNecro/91 --- GwanSauceMan/90

Has anyone here ever played on the Garena server?
It's really, really dead there. I would imagine they're scrambling to recuperate the licensing fee however they can. I am a Templar and my legs are cold. Last edited by ocajavati#3108 on May 1, 2014, 12:33:04 AM

" 1. That is for garena only different server different companies and different region. There is no news about it being implemented in poe global. 2. Not sure if it applies for most, I get more chaos(from vendor recipe) than I get regrets. It will be beneficial for regret orbs to decrease in price so I can get more regrets for my chaos. |

What is the big deal? It is a game after all. If people want to pay to respec their char then they should be able to do it. It doesn't give them any in game advantage. The economy shouldn't be too affected because the "die hards" who wont pay for it still need whatever it is they need to do it without paying.
The "integrity" some people are talking about wont be worth squat if the game folds. This is a business, not a charity or nonprofit organization. Some of you are forgetting this fact. There will be a lot of chaos and regret if the game goes under. hahaha Last edited by TimelessConqueror#3633 on May 1, 2014, 12:53:06 AM

" If I remember correctly: because Garena and GGG made it so that whenever people from that region try to access GGG's poe website, they get redirected to the Garena version. It takes quite some effort for them to reach GGG's PoE website. This message was delivered by GGG defence force.

Imho P2W has different versions.
Usually people refer to P2W as getting a power boost ( like + 100 % dmg microtransaction ) However, P2W can also refer to buying time. While a level 80 char. will have to farm for 50 hours to get the regrets he needs to respec, someone else could just buy the microtransaction and save himself 50 hours of hard work. This, for me is also pay to win in long races ( 1 week races etc. ) and 4 month leagues, since people are competing to be in the top 50, or top 50 Atziri kills and so on. P2W is also buying power in the form of beating rng. If GGG ever sells 6-linking microtransactions or something simillar, this equals to players buying time and building a portal to just teleport to GGG heaven, instead of having to swim through the sea of rng. So for me, tihs is a P2W option. Last edited by DoctorHiruruluk#5280 on May 1, 2014, 1:20:21 AM
