Item Rarity is too overpowered, and surely ruins odds for non-MF players

Fun times with high MF...

Spoiler

All I'm seeing is alteration shards and chaos recipe....

this is why I don't even bother with MF, I don't got time to mess around with junk rares and uniques.

All my best items were found with no magic find so I'm not convinced, increasing something that only has a .00001% drop and doubling it is still only .00002% so yeah
R.I.P. my beloved P.o.E.
I think my last unique drop some 10+ hours ago of gameplay so just my 2 cents (again).

I don't think anyone enjoys running mf gear. It gimps your character and forces you to grind in a way that you really don't want to. I would presume everyone wants to have the strongest character as possible. When you are running mf gear, you are not as strongest as possible.

My suggestion - remove mf completely. Buff base drops to reflect average mf of players in league. This way you evenly distribute the drops (no more 1% of people getting loot pinata drops while 99% are starving), people actually play the way they want and enjoy and you still have the aprox same influx of items into economy.

But that's not going to happen, as GGG doesn't know what they are doing recently ('hey guys, hur dur, we drastically nerfed invasion bosses...yeah, not going to tell you more, go and find out which ones are nerfed and which ones can still one shot you...it's going to be fun..herp fucking derp'

Sorry for the frustration, it's going to pass in an hour or so.
„I don't give a fuck if it was his tenth anniversary with his goddamn neckbeard...“
„If they think I'm going to let them sweep this pizza guy thing under the rug...“
No mod action. Business as usual.

This is pretty much what I would like to see as well. They can't fix the drop rates for the average player until IIR is toned down.

I understand that its not as if you just stack IIR and Shav's and Kaom's are just exploding out of every boss. However compared to how many a non-IIR character will ever find, expensive uniques by comparison are essentially falling from the sky.

Also, it's not accurate to say IIR is less effective because +500% is still 5 times the rate a 0% IIR character will find expensive uniques.

Part of the frustration with this system is that they refuse to go into any sort of detail over how it works, which points to it being at least somehow broken, unfair, or otherwise exploitable if it has to be hidden in such a way. They give the details on everything else in this game, it's 100% transparency, but when it comes to their RNG they don't want to talk about it. Basically it's famine by design and it's not going to get any better until IIR is toned down closer to the level of a non-IIR character.
