so will you be removing Smoke Mine from the game?

because it has no current/valid use now. i havent seen any guide recommending usage of this skill. it being a mine (and destructible) and requiring direct 'clean' LOS makes it unreliable and that smoke does nothing for spells

Not everybody bothers to post their working build for e-Fame on a shitty forum.

We both know that the forum population is an actual minority.
So why are you concluding build diversity from it?
So link your high lvl smoke mine and links you are using it for and why you are using it (brnefirs that are not/hardly possible to get otherwise)

Did you read my post?

I did not claim that I know a working Smoke Mine build. I just argued, that claiming there is none based on such a specific and easily influenced sample size like the forum population is illogical. We don't know what the majority of players not posting ever might do.


Furthermore Smoke Mine is a utility gem which I personally would not heavily link. Over the head, a possible use might be positioning in combination of a damage mitigation for an Incinerate user, sequencing the Smoke Mine use before and after a Lightning Warp use.

Aside that, it still is a free guaranteed blind which might save a evasion user's ass in case they are surrounded in danger by fast hitters. The gem itself being a resync is a bonus point, imo.

Smoke Mine

See a boss, lay Smoke Mine. Run to the boss, drop Vaal Spark mine. Hit the boss with Vaal Glacial Hammer, hit mine detonation button: you'll be transferred outside the ring and the spark will kill the boss inside it.

This is just one of the tactics possible with Smoke Mine, and there are many more. I bet figuring them out is much more productive than throwing a fit about it on forums.
