Coral Amulet, % life regen?
" I agree 1% is a bit much but I think a range from .2 to .5% would be just about right. Currently coral amulet's implicit value is a joke. Keep PoE2 Difficult.

" A lot. Implicits on Daggers, Harbringers, Armor/ES Shields, all give benefits greater than 1 Node.. But 1% Regen would be NO stronger than the 1% Max Resist Implicit possible with Vaal Orbs.. But it could be less than 1%. like .25-.75% It is a real shame that this Base Type becomes useless after the first few Levels... :S Waste of design, art, and feels.. EA IGN: We_Have_Monk_at_Home

" Sapphire, Topaz, Ruby, Amythist, nearly all 2 stone rings are like double passives, double attribute like agate, rustic belts (24% is big), leather belt (+40 base life) and probably much more but the point is made. coral could use a little buff. Even 0.5% would make it closer to useful. Pacific (GMT -8) Time

I agree, a buff to make them % based would be great. Atm life regen mods on gear are useless, they make no difference. Only if you have the highest roll (that's the "of the Phoenix", lvl 78,6-7) on all your gear possible, maybe, maybe it'd be noticeable, but then you're giving up other important suffixes, like resists.
And yeah, just look at other implicits: +10 all res, 24% phys damage, 40 life, 30% crit chance, 40% elemental damage, and so on... they all roughly equal to a rather powerful passive node. (pro question: Where can you get 40% elemental damage from one node on the tree? Hm...) And then why are mana regen mods % based? Paua amulets' implicit mods are 20-30% mana regen rate. Why then, I ask. (I know it says mana regen RATE, but still, it's practically the same.) "just for try, for see and for know" Last edited by komlosi#7484 on Apr 4, 2014, 8:09:39 PM

While i agree that the current version is very lacking after earlygame, 1% regen would be too much.
Also, you can't just compare life regen to attributes. How much regen is there on the tree and how many attribute points? Node effectiveness is irrelevant in this scenario. CliveHowlitzer wrote:

1% would be pretty OP
i got 1% and gives about 60 life reg |

" noob question: where do u get 40% elemental dmg implict mod on amulets/rings? rustic sash is OP thats no news ;P the "weaker" amulet types coral and paua amulet also got their own vendor recipe to make up for their shittyness and to fool players a little (yea i know..) |

" How many attributes beside the base +10 ones? I don't want to counted them up but they re either about the same number as regen or less. And even with that, there is no node on the tree that adds 48 attributes, there are some that add 40, next ones are 30, an that's a huge gap. Why is node effectiveness irrelevant? By the way, you can see that people started comparing other implicit mods as well, not only regen-attribute. |
