[3.1] GLADIATOR 1H+Shield Max Block&Spell Block Tank + a BoR version

Hi and thanks for the build. I Just started a new char using it but I'm still to low to have a definitive opinion.
Still, I've 2 questions: - This build seems to rely on warlord mark for life and mana leech. So how do you manage immune curse? I thought about a few points in duelist leech nodes. What nodes to replace in this case? I won't go for physical leech on items since I'm going to try elemental damage setup - Did you try something like earthquake - MPD - less duration - PTL - WED - added fire? Do you think it is viable? I think I'll miss a bit the increase AOE but I can replace added fire damage if I feel the need Thanks! | |

Thank you for the build, also i saw somewhere your reply about flask setup, but can't find it now.
So what's the best setup? 2 instant hp with bleed and freeze removal, quicksilver with rolled movespeed on it, basalt with increased armor and the last one? I am thinking about Lion's Roar because of dmg boost, or simple granite is better? Not sure how knockout from lion's is working with melee character. little update of my Gladiator,
close to lvl86, dmg is good, survivability too. managed to get some t7/8 maps and will start chisel+alch them to grind. managed to upgrade to a 6L chest. current gear

the axe and abyssus i found myself. will upgrade both rings so i can respecc 1 +30 int node. maybe belt too will have 2 jewel slots. thought i would go for Alpha's Howl and SoulTaker to reserve 100% mana, but these require too much dex so i wont do that. stats close to 4,8k hp 370 ES using 6L EQ 26,6k tooltip unbuffed, 36K with hatred still no 20q gems still need granite+basalt flask will use cwdt+molten shell+?+? as defensive setup for hard hits in abyssus. any suggestions for that and axe ? any tips what i should upgrade beside echantments? edit: next goals are kill normal atziri(have 2 sets) and get a corrupted anvil Last edited by MrZimz on Apr 1, 2016, 7:33:39 AM

Hm, get belt with same amount with life\resists but also +armor or +wed?

" Those are the 4 main you need, the 5th is up to you. You can use another life flask, some unique flask or a granite flask with increased armour which would basically make you immune to even vaal slam in 81 map (granite with inc armour + basalt + 7 endurance charges). Hello,
I am basically a new player trying this build in HC Perandus. I've attached my items in the spoiler link. My DPS is VERY low. I have about 20 chaos I can spend. Questions: 1) How do I increase my DPS so I can clear faster? 2) How much should I invest in my character at level 45? 3) Which skills are most important to DPS for this build? My damage is so low...

" Take out that Abyssus and you can easily do Atziri with this build. You don't want to use CWDT + Molten Shell since it removes Vaal Molten Shell (Which is awfully good with this build). After trying I can say that Vanasura is better for map clearing as it enables Whirling Blades, but the Soul Taker settup with Determination + Hatred is FAR safer. With Soul Taker, I could afk tank/kill tier 12 bosses without problem, with Vanasutra I can't, but I can beat them pretty faster. Determination seems to be really strong for this build (No need to use Granite flask if using Determination). | |
" If we're talking realistically, though it would potentially be expensive/difficult to pull off, the safest and most tanky route for an aegis build is probably Soul Taker with essence worm slotted with grace/determination and then Determination/grace (Whichever isn't in essence worm) w/ Herald of Ash or Arctic Armor with a helmet that gives -% of mana reservation to determination or grace. Then you could run alpha's howl if you felt like it to upgrade Grace. Probably end up with around 13-20k armor through just grace (w/ determination buffing), but this kind of build would follow a considerably different tree than Comrade's current one.
