Would you pay to have GGG focus exclusively on fixing the game issues but no new content?
Hard to say really what causes the problem. Sometimes I play at my brothers and he has a faster connection with high end network card and modem and its good no desyncing. But if the cable company has an outage which happens then you get a disconnect and die. At my house cable sometimes just stops even playing diablo for a like a minute. Basically the are millions of things that can go wrong with online gaming. I bet if you were directly wired into GGGs servers in same building you'd have no problem. Anyway I'm done playing the HC. Tired of dying to white mobs lol.

Does Blizzard sell their Diablo 3 Engine? XD
I guess an engine switch is not possible so GGG has to deal with the thing they made and improve it as much as possible. I'm sure there are enough talented guys in NZ, it's not THAT small island and remmember, it's also "Peter-Jackson-Land". ;) For the POE engine, I first suggest to finaly add Multi Core support, which is actualy a fundamental and basic thing these days. My Core 2 Quad sweats with PoE becausse it only runs at one core. I can play Diablo 3 smooth and in full HD + all effects high by the way. Then I would suggest to lower the Poly Count of PoE, it's to high imho. You don't need to make every Fireball, every Tree a full 3D object etc. In the library, basicly every Book in the shelfs is modeled, looks nice but it's unneccessary. And if you really want to improve the game, finaly add some technic to make level objects tranparent, or highlight the Player's Chars behind objects. There is ONE (!) vanishing (test?)-rock in act 1., Coves I think, that's all. I know in Act 3 the Warehouses have vanishing roofs, really good but the walls still remain. Tight areas are a general issue in PoE, the charas hide basicly everywhere. Just some examples what I would improve, not to mention the eternal desync pain. " Lower the poly count? Do you even know what poly count is? The poly count in this game is too low if anything, just look at npc's like Greust, he's almost a cube. " This makes me really sad. I do technically play at 4K res and max details, if I'd settle for less I would probably have better performance. But the frame drops are happening when almost nothing happens on the screen, so dunno. GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

" Not in general of course, SOME stuff could be more optimized, no need to lower character models etc. However, besides this, there are reasons why stuff like Flame Sentinels eat that much FPS and I'm sure this can be optimized. Maybe polygons, maybe shader effects, whatever. PoE skills can basicly scale up alot with support gems (chain, GMP, etc) so GGG may rethink these mecahnics to make the game a little bit better FPS wise. |

" Until the Devs say otherwise, PoE is NOT geometry bound, but fillrate bound. Proof: Compare the frame rate AND the geometry complexity by changing production_Config.ini from normal fillrate to low fillrate: texture_quality=4 PoE drops frames even on a GTX Titan -- excessive alpha-blending is most likely the cause of the frame rate spikes. |

" Thank you for all your answer, i read all posts and now can understand about Path of Exile little more, thanks a lot! And +1 for your, all supports and devs hard work. <3 you all! Only issues i see: balance in game (drop, damage from mosters and special from bosses, useless/low usefull gems, nerfs for life and es (i realy hate nerf survivble), and something like that. PoE looks great, only hope for customise color/design of currency items (hope to see option that lets me choose my favorite color, fonts and whatever for items/orbs).
