Na, it's all good I actually enjoy reading all of them tbh.
I use to be a moderator on the Heroes of Newerth Forums I was 2nd in command of the suggestion forums and was one of the people who ran the "create your own hero" contest where someone actually got their hero idea put into the game. There were over 3000 hero ideas submitted over the month and boy was there a lot to go though there lol, Hero concept, 4 skills each (maybe more) back story, theme, synergy... ect. Lets just say that took a lot longer then this will =P btw it's 4.13pm NZ time so entries closed. I'm like a couple of pages into it already, Thanks to everyone who participated in this! I actually submitted two HoN hero ideas, unfortunately they never got picked. Hopefully 3rd time is the charm lol. It really is nice to know there are others that like to get involved in the community to make the games they enjoy even better.
That's one of the major problem with gaming communities these days. There is too much selfishness, whining and ego. Players helping other players is what Path of Exile needs. |

There are a lot of 2010 contests. This thread, however, was for best concept for a skill idea. Lets please keep it on topic as i'm sure there are eager people waiting to see if they won. Hell, i'm eager to see who is going to win, and i'm a bystander.
There seems to be a lot of great entries! I really like the ones that went above and beyond and actually put some effort into the visual aspect of it. Congrats to the person who RenoFox Picks. Contests like this are great for the community, as stated above. Good luck all! |

Skill name: Ripost/Reversal
Skill Target: Upcoming Attack A skill that ripost by blocking and reversing the melee-ranged skill coming at you , Ex.: A iceblast is coming at you , u click at right moment and reverse it into a fireblast , same for melee , a shield bash for example reversed into a temporary protecting shield against the basher , an arrow reverse into ; upcoming arrow changed into at returned flying bow tht smash the shooter while hes stock with his arrow as a weapon , Consider all this as short-momentum reversal moves like the reversal affect lengt must not be longer than 1.5 the time of the normal un-reversed spell ^^ PATH OF EXILE = GAME OF EXTASE
