[HC] 2.0 MartinCreek's Immortal Ranger Build (8 March patch update)

Ok that makes my decision easier! I'm thinking of going for the marauder survivability passives before iron grip, not wanting to die and all. Good idea? Or is it too big of a hit to dps? If you got a thicket bow would you drop iron grip?

Why

Lightning Arrow (LMP, Chain, Life on Hit, Weapon Elemental Damage)

instead of

Lightning Arrow (GMP, Chain, Life on Hit, Weapon Elemental Damage)
IGN @Ostropalca
LMP removes less damage.

That works, iron grip is not high priority if you value your life :)

question regard:

As far as the Resolute Techniques (from here on RT) goes: As we are not getting a lot of accuracy from the build, you will probably land around 70% chance to hit around level 65 (with decent gear and weak accuracy). By the time you pick RT, you will notice your dps going up by a few hundred.

I went straight for blood magic/RT (picking all lifenodes on the way like u did)

got around 2k hp in cruel and 1.8k with grace/wrath/anger
what do u mean by "you'll notice ur dps going up by a few hundred"

mine went up by like 80 with RT on lightning arrow, is my gear that bad?

I use lightning arrow - lmp - weapon ele dmg - life on hit
will add a chain soon to a 5l hopefully

i have around 400 dps lightning arrow at lvl 46, is that bad/good?
Look at your base damage when you pick RT, if it goes up by a few - it means you had decent accuracy to begin with. In my case, I had 70%, and RT brought it up by 230.

400 Lightning arrow at 46 is alright, as long as you can kill stuff and survive, you're fine.

Hey, took a look at this and it seems to me that going through the middle to the marauder stuff is the better option. linky

You get more HP efficiency per point and more access to better life nodes in the middle that way (those 2 12% nodes you pick up are effectively 8% nodes since it takes you 1 point to get there). And, it's the same amount of points to the Mara stuff anyway.
How do you recommend I proceed?

Lvl 56 atm with 2.6k hp (2.2k with all auras active and around 800 dps lightning arrow)

Either iron grip or continue towards shock + more life nodes

At this point iron grip is gonna give quite a dps boost right? with +400 str
How importent is elemental dmg for your dps? im thinking of skipping those nodes in the start? and is this build good also for farming alone?
