Hello! Do not use a chain in your LA until you can reach up to around 400-500dps WITH chain.

As far as your items goes, your bow is not where it should be at your current level, try buying a new one with high phys and lightning damage. I suggest a thicket bow.

Your helmet and boots also needs to be upgraded with health and resistance items.

You're saying "high physical damages". Is there something I didn't get with the "+elem damages" way to calculate damages ? I mean, aren't the damages higher if you have high elems on your weapon instead of physical ?

For boots I know, just didn't find any atm, and helm is nice for the "not shocked". It's actually kinda insane versus electric mobs early game :p

You could keep the helmet in the inventory when going up against electric bosses. Apart from that, I see no real use in it :P

What I mean by high physical damage, I enjoy having a good physical damage ranger early on, due to the bonus effects from Iron Grip. Apart from that, Lightning Damage is what will take over your damage later on :)

Martin, you say that iron grip is most useful early on. Does this logic apply to the extra frenzy charge you get from the bandits? It makes me want to just get the passive point instead.

The extra frenzy charge give you 9% aspeed and 9% physical damages, which is totally awesome. Didn't take this option, and now I kinda regret it, so do not ! :D
