Weapon elemental damage?

WED increases ELEMENTAL Damage done by Weapons. (hence the name) It is not a good gem for the following. It does not increase physical damage, since not Elemental. It does not increase chaos damage, since not Elemental. It does not increase damage done without a weapon, primarily meaning spell damage but also Facebreaker glove damage, since there is no weapon.
