This isn't "GGG's logic". It's one poster's claim that he once heard that something like this might have gotten someone in trouble. It's been elevated to the word of God simply because it's more fun to exaggerate than it is to work with the truth.

How can he show a picture without spoiling the vendor recipe? If others know the recipe, and it has to do with the spoiler hint he gave, then they should know whether he speaks the truth or not. Clearly you dont know the recipe and therefore cant say if he does or does not know a new vendor recipe.

How would a picture with a vendor window containing a random item be proof for anything? And say it would indeed be the item for a new recipe, having it narrowed down to a single item makes finding the new recipe for others quite simple.

Lets take the previous hidden recipe as an example, and the picture would be a vendor trade window with a gem in it. Having it narrowed down to just gems makes it very easy for others to figure it out, as opposed to having to try out every combination that isnt a vendor recipe yet.
