How to get half a fishing rod you ask? Involves a pair of scissors.

Why should people pay you not to reveal it? Can one actually make a decent profit with the new recepies? Doubt it.

its like the gem Q recipe: if you could buy lvl 20 gems for 1ex and sell them for 2ex with 20%q(lvl1) then you would make a ton of profit.

Exactly what I was gonna say. If it were that easy to generate profit with it he would just silently do it like the rest that know it.

Otherwise what is the point of this thread? Let's ask ourselves what motivates the op.

Assuming the OP really does know this recipe, I see a couple things:

A) Easy profit gain, by conditions stated in the OP; as opposed to volatile profit margins by using the recipe itself.
B) Announcing to the world he does know the recipe (thus becoming infamous for the moment)
C) Entertainment for himself and others (aka trolling)
D) By claiming to know the recipe, stipulate discussion that somehow leads to partial reveals/clues from people actually in the know

My hunch tells me its a mixture between B and C.
Otherwise he would just be using this recipe and live happily ever after.

If there was a recipe relating to quality i feel it would be something similar to the flasks to bauble recipe- put in gear with 100 total quality etc...
Maybe there is another ring/ amulet recipe where you put in 7 of something like you do with Iron Ring.

One thing I learned through my years as a trader (other than never to do that again) was that reputation was the most valuable asset. You've pretty much trashed yours here either way you go.

I paid him 10ex to keep his mouth shut; as long as he does his reputation remains intact as far as I'm concerned.
