Donnie Darko and US Political Ideology

I'll join in the apologies as well, I have no idea at all what it would be like to live under either pure communism or pure capitalism - even though I will often be extremely dismissive of both (but without denying thing their existence as relevant and potentially useful philosophies), so I apologise if this dismissivness comes across as ignorance (which it is) or arrogance (which it is).
