that's arbitrary, anyone can use alt tab it's not the game's fault if they are lazy

Work should never be required due to failures in the user interface of a software

Yes I'm lazy I expect to be able to sort all my equipment by type within/across tabs, I'm lazy in don't expect drops in permanent allocation to become non-permanent because my inventory is full. Yes I'm lazy because I don't expect to have to use websites to trade equipment in a game based on trade. Yes I'm lazy as I don't want to calculate DPS on a weapon that drops

POE is a typical linux/open source type project nice ideas but extremely poor interface
and the user is expected to just accept it

Are you seriously complaining that your items become free to everyone if you pick it up and your inventory is full??? You have to be joking... You have to.. The fuck do you expect, POE to just know which item you dont want to keep and swap it out for the one that just dropped??? If so, your a God Damn FOOL! And thats all there is to it.. Christ, how old are you?

I expect if your inventory is full not to be able to pick anything up and tell you that you are full up. I have to be honest I simply can't even begin to understand the thinking of anyone who would disagree with that. Does any major game in the world not work that way?

He wants individual loot like Diablo 3. He wants DPS to be listed on the weapons like WoW and Diablo 3. He wants a simplified, holds-your-hands-through-the-hard-parts ARPG. He wants a level with rainbows and unicorns. He's playing the wrong game. And if he doesn't actually play PoE, he's trolling and should be ignored.

You know you've got a rough life when you can complain about alt-tabbing to a website to enhance your gaming experience.
Look, man. Video games are hard, okay?
The wonders of elitism.

Let's make things harder deliberately to keep out the noobs, we don't want them corrupting our purity of hardcoreness

Nice post OP

I have no idea what you're talking about here. If your inventory is full, you cannot pick up anything. Unless, of course, you have the inventory screen open, in which case the game puts the item on your cursor so you can try fitting it in your inventory by moving your items around. Are you this bad at the game, or am I an idiot for getting trolled this hard?

You can pick up when you're inventory is full, you just immediately drop it
Yeah that's a great and obvious game mechanic

I'm surprised someone think its a good idea to be able to use different waypoints by selecting in a GUI. Why not just force people to choose them from a command prompt that will get rid of a few less hardcore people
Why is the little animation of tossing an item when your bags are full a bad thing? I'm missing something here.

When you are on permanent allocation and try to pick something up you are considered to have dropped it/given it away if your inventory is full. Trying to reason with anyone who things that is a good idea is impossible as they are beyond reason
