if it's not "in the game"... it's not part of the game. Just my opinion.

Exactly and trading using 3rd party sites would be considered cheating in most games, just because its common for a minority doesn't make it right

It usually takes less than ten seconds to buy/sell something from within the game. Buying and selling something from other players, however, takes a bit longer. Always has, always will. Ignoring the in-game trade channels, I think the Buying, Selling and Shop forums are a great way to trade items, and poe.xyz is just a more streamlined way to search said forums for something specific.

Guess we will have to agree to disagree, I find any use of alt-tab or any external program/website to be unacceptable. If only 3-5% of people use the forums then any use of forums is exclusive

So offer a solution. D3 missed it, because you need to exit to the character select screen to use their AH. D2 and Torchlight 2 missed it because it's all player interactions. What would be an acceptable solution to you?

Agreed. POEXYZ makes it so much easier to trade. I NEVER have trade chat open unless im trying to buy eternals/chaos/fusings for my exalts.. If Im looking to buy something, I know exactly what I want and I use xyz. THe same goes for selling stuff... Do you actually think Im going to waste my time spamming trade chat trying to sell my items like a mindless noob??? Hell NO! Put that shit in your shop and let the players come to you. THis alleviates so many unnecessary headaches.

Yes I'm lazy I expect to be able to sort all my equipment by type within/across tabs, I'm lazy in don't expect drops in permanent allocation to become non-permanent because my inventory is full. Yes I'm lazy because I don't expect to have to use websites to trade equipment in a game based on trade. Yes I'm lazy as I don't want to calculate DPS on a weapon that drops

POE is a typical linux/open source type project nice ideas but extremely poor interface
and the user is expected to just accept it
