New Chisel Recipe is Lame

So I'm kind of mad about this. Most people guessed we were getting a chisel recipe. What I didn't guess is it would involve MMORPG style farming of a low level base item, which is exactly what I wanted to do. I mean.....you are progressing in maps, you need chisels, you have lots of low 66 maps you don't want to run. What else could you want to do but go back to act 1 normal and kill monsters which pose no threat, in uninteresting labor style farming?

Wait.....no I'd rather kill myself. Seriously.....stone hammers? Change it to something that is found commonly in maps!!!

I believe that was the point. It's something that isn't found commonly (although still drops) in maps. So you can still get them. Meanwhile, there *will* be farmers who will help to increase chisel production for ya mappers.

It also has a theme to it.

By farmers you mean RMT botters right? Because honestly there are the ones I see winning on this, almost noone else.

Agreed this recipe should be scraped it helps botters the most its just a waste of time for anyone else ...they just need to add more usefull stuff people can trade, right now exept from currency itsself its basecly farming and hoping u hit the jackpot few uniques or rares which doesnt happen often.

You can also get stone hammers from vendors.

I can totally see all the high level mapping parties taking extended breaks and all go multibox farm normal ledge.

In other words, they balanced it around trade, clearly showing what feature they believe is most important to this game. Path of Trade sums it up nicely these days. I wish they'd focus on the arpg part of the game more instead of on the trade simulator part as there are far better trade simulators out there for people who want that.

I was really hoping for a chisel recipe that helped the people who need the chisels. 8 maps and I have yet to find a stone hammer but I found 2 chisels.

Add rockbreakers and gavels too please.

I'll be honest I'm disappointed in the new recipe too. I'd rather they just made a new currency that manipulates whole item types thematically into other currencies than what they did.

That's life in MMOs. There are low currency zombie farmers, high currency zombie farmers, warriors, supports, even cooks.
