Is desync still an issue?

I play a dual strike, multi strike - melee splash duelist. I use whirling blades for mobility and have a high aps. I bound /oos to my middle mouse button and now instinctually hit it after every few whirling blades or a large pack of mobs. I likely hit it more than the internal cd allows, but if you mix it into your normal gameplay habitually, it negates much of the desync. Cyclone cannot be helped due to the tsunami of calls it sends to the server. the skill needs to hit less times for more damage to chill it out.

I think people confound desync with other unrelated stuff too much. I mostly never desync.

I mostly desync at night. Mostly.

+1 :) hehe...
Desync is better than it was a year ago when i started. The resync on stun, various optimizations, and just plain experience keeps it less than it was.

And avoiding certain skills, and not having 150%+ movement tends to help a lot.

By not playing the game you can avoid desync. Otherwise you gonna get it sucka!
Crafting doesn't exist in POE. Gambling does...and the house always wins.

Velocireptile - I LOL'ed. Which made me fart. I wish the office were empty right now :(

Hardlicker - I had to push the dog out of the way so I could get to the sexy quilt.
Well I've been supporting the game as much as I can. I understood problems need to be fixed. But when you have to not run at 1505+ movement speed and "avoid using certain skills".
You need to stop making your new micro transaction skins, and fix the god damn problem. At this point it just looks like greed.

Sure I like this game, but D3 is catching up to you guys. In terms of lore, let's not even compare. There has been a lot of patches since D3, new expansion changed a lot of stuff and improved a lot. It's what the game should've been when it was released.

The expansion is doing to D3 what the expansion did to D2, it's elevating the game to new heights(nowhere near what D2 LoD was but, it's finally catching up)

My point is, desync is a major issue, and it's been around for so long. When I cannot use spells. When I have to integrate /oss macro, and consider desync as a "game feature". Well you're doing a bad job. At least every 20 seconds, it happens at least once. Makes playing hardcore pointless. Might as well remove that mode until you found a way to make it playable.

I've supported you enough with words and my wallet. Not because of how great the game was but because I saw there were flaws, I wanted to help devs by giving some dollars. Yes, I like this game(the skill tree <3), but it's not that magnificent that I have to ignore major GAMEPLAY flaws. Now it's time for you to back it up.

The good thing about D3, is that they are listening to the community right now. They are fixing and changing the major issues with D3, that we all disliked and that made a lot of people play this game.

At this point I am having much more fun with D3, than I am with this game, at least that one works properly.
For all who say they dont get desynced, you should try play melee on some race or hc league.

Playing melee Inferno blow + splash damage and opening a Strongbox that pop 25 mobs... i only have to do 1 hit and BANG!!! Desync for a good 2-3 sec... not sure what is dead, where i am...

For me is supper annoying to be in front of a mob casting incinerate and seeing his helth bar not moving because I have desync. Anyway today I died once in a map (enter room full of mobs, leave room running with speed potion, 1 sec later the magic happens and you are still inside the room, dead).
Yes. I think they've done well with the performance.
If they'd fix desync as well now, it'd be great.
