An unexpected disconnection has occurred

This just started happening to me today. Been playing for a few hours and I'm getting dropped to login with this "unexpected disconnection".
Played this game for a long time and have never seen this. Hopefully it clears up. It's more of an annoyance than anything, I can still deal with it since my gameplay right now is soloing maps and I can just log back in and go to my lab and there's still ports. If the labs vanished and I was losing maps it'd be unbearable. I suppose it probably is for those that are joining map groups and paying for it. In-game: WrongHoleBaby

this is what was happening in DAOC all the time to people
...sad thing is it was more than 10 years ago. in the year 2013 for a program to disconnect/drop users at this rate is a very very sad situation. | |

" Please create your own thread rather than attaching to an old thread that is multiple pages long. As for your problem, are you using wireless? You're getting pretty significant packet loss to your first hop. | |

I don't think it's problem of network or ISP. Based on my experience, this usually happens when I use a summoner (with 9 zombies and 3 eva spectres). So I switch to a facebreaker character and everything is fine.

Hi, I started getting massive lag spikes recently, and frequent dropped connect connections (3-5 per hour). Any help you can provide would be awesome, or even an indication of whether its on my end or Steam, or what. Here's a report below:

I am experiencing this problem...so frustrating. I will be playing and then the screen suddenly glitches, my attacks have no effect, the screen freezes and then I get this disconnection problem. It has been doing this ever since the game updated yesterday.
I emailed GGG and they are blaming my ISP when clearly that is not the problem. Did that WINexp thing and that doesn't seem to have brought anything to light. Getting so irritating play for 5 minutes then it stops working! Someone please help me if you got out of this problem. Thanks |
