An unexpected disconnection has occurred

I live in a place that doesn't have access to true broadband service. I use Sprint 3g. It works if I use my AT&T phone with tethering but not if I use the sprint service. I play quite a few online games and they all handle my mediocre latency just fine. I don't see what makes this game any different.

I'm also stuck on wi-fi but, here in China. The minority are affected by the game devs insisting this game is played online. Wouldn't it be easier to play offline? How could some little shit, or shits in this case......migrate there hacks to the public servers?

3 dc's in the last ten minutes and I tried all the gateways.

It's just annoying now.
Ya I suppose I will just delete it. I was kind of excited about giving it a shot.
It's really annoying! Here's results:

It was ok and started two or three days ago...now I can't play...:/ ^
You all have pretty substantial packet loss. Its not your gear, but its definately your isps. You should contact them.
HAIL SATAN!
Well. My game was working pretty much fine. Right up until this past thursday evening. I had the occasional rubber band effect. particularly when playing with a friend. However. Since thursday, i get non stop disconnects. Like unplayable level. given. everything on my end works fine with every other "Must be online all the time" game. and the problem is recent. this kind of says not my end or not my connection. rather something on the other side went screwy somehow. to put the bug into perspective and ALL of this was not happening before.

1) frequent log outs transiting areas.
2) frequent game freezes and log outs while trying to do anything with items. RE: pick them up. have them generated. trading. moving them from character to stash.
3) more frequent rubber banding effect.
4) of note. when the game is going to die. everything is still moving around and shooting at me and hitting me. and i can move around. just can't hit anything. some times. if i stop and retreat. i do not get logged out sometimes.
The timing is totally random. but usually at least a minute goes by.
I have done - a total system diagnostic.
- connection test. particularly with other must be online games.
- driver update checks.
- thorough virus scan and system clean up.
I am clean.

This is a NEW bug that did not exist before thursday. I did not install any new software of any kind.

Please help. the game is cool. just recently became unplayable.
There is a LOT of internet between you and the servers. Just because nothing changed on your end, doesn't mean it changed on the server's end either. Could easily be a problem in the vastness if the internet between the two.

Only way to know for sure is to run a WinMTR while experiencing the issue so we can see the results. Instructions can be found in the Consolidated Technical sticky post at the top of the forum.

You should post your own thread rather than attaching to an already existing one.

As for your problem, you'll need to contact your ISP and provide them with a copy of that trace. It is pretty clear from the trace you're losing packets to the ISP and that is before it gets to the server (and can cause your disconnection issues).

Hopefully they'll work with you to get it resolved and then you won't have issues. Good luck.
This has started for me tonight, every 5 minutes or so internet is fine as I'm running fibre and streaming, watching videos just fine.

Anyone know what the problem is?
