I still insist it is just a matter of point efficiency. Has anybody ever taken the ev/life cluster above the Ranger's crit/life cluster? Everything in that area just feels like its a point or two too inefficient along the path to justify, yet is still necessary.
Connecting the 8-8-12 clusters is too efficient, especially in terms of transiting between the inner and outer paths there. Trim 1-2 stat nodes between the two, and add a little bit of life + melee hybrid to the outer path, and I think it'll feel just right. Especially with the ev/life cluster. It's just a dead zone, the two nodes leading in and out of it, and there are far more efficient ways to pass by that area of the tree. IMO, that would be an ideal place to connect the inner and putter paths, and trim a dex node out of the tree below it. Devolving Wilds
