Spell totem have the same damage and cast speed reduction

does this mean that ancestral bond does not work with explosive arrow charges? Do the charges count as deal damage yourself, or is it just like the traps and mines a outside source of damage?
can anyone verify this? |

would the fire dmg portion of detonate dead still work? (non totem cast)

If I have this keystone and attack with a skill supported with culling strike, I should still be able to "cull" monsters correct?

I would like to make a suggestion.
The Ancestral Bond debuff effect that "you cannot do damage yourself" ONLY applies WHEN you have 2 totems active at the same time. This allows a character the diversity to attack, cast spells IF they choose too when only a single totem is active, and if they bring up a second then they get the debuff. " Many of the Keystones have a consequential factor involved (for CI, you gain immunity to a damage element, lose the majority of your life - no "only lose 50% life if not attacking"). This is the same thing - you gain the ability to summon two totems, you lose the ability to damage directly. Take it or leave it.... |

I have read the whole topic but one thing is still not clear.
So this is my question: if you have ancestral bond and use a skill, such as cleave or frenzy strike, which of the following happens? A; The skill deals 0 physical damage and full elemental damage (auras, added damage) B; The skill deals 0 damage overall |

0, The only things you can do damage with, are totems, traps, and mines. You want to use Detonate dead, attach it to "Trap" support gem and toss it. You wanna use explosive arrow, attach it to "Mine" support gem, lay it and let them walk over.

Sorry guys but this passive is absolute garbage now.
I skilled a dual ice spear totem char till lvl 68 and now i figure out, that this was a huge waste of time. I'm a cassual gamer not a streaming freak or nerd. Just a player who wants enjoy this, beside that, very great game. A summoner witch can raise up to one million minions, got nothing to do, gets everything down AND can deal damage with skills itself. And those Minions are not weak at all. My Shadow can throw TWO USEFULL traps (fire trap, bear trap) an than its over. At the end you MUST have minions with dual totem. But i dont like them so the (for me best skill) dual totem is crab because: Monsters still attack me and i can nothing do agains them beside of drop ONE Totem witch costs 179 Mana or throw a fire- or bear trap The Mana Costs for a dual totem char are way to high in my opinion. I've got no Minios which pick up this attacking mob. I dont like those freakin Minions. Trap Support Gem is not good to round up a dual totem build. You cannot creat powerfull traps that rounds up your build because there are no good combination My Charakter is, as a role play manner, addicted to ice. So what skills should I use to survive? A single target freeze mine? So my question is why is it possible to get up to 25 minions and be still able to deal dmg but it is impossible to do something usefull when you use dual totem. It should be possible, to raise up the dmg of the totems for dual totem casters only or give us dual totem freaks the ability to deal not dmg but make, that the status effects still apply. Or what ever. But from my point of view like i explained above at the moment this is not good as it is. I dont want to be a summoner when i want to play dual totem. I mean a Murauder with sweep don't have to use Minions to survive so why must the dual totem guys must use this to survive? sorry for my broken english, don't use it often Jack Hanzon |
