numerous lag spikes and disconnects

sorry to post here, but i don't want to open a new topic about all the lags spikes etc i've got too...

the only thing i'm sure, that's everything went wrong after that hard reboot/rollback of the server on thursday 16 january at 17h5x gmt +1
i dont know exactly what the cause for this is, but i have random disconnects like every 3 min or so. usually i am one of the lucky ones that rarely sees disconnects at all.

it is close to unplayable atm for me. Playing on EU server, with the steam version of the game. steam seems to be working fine. rest of the internet is working perfectly.

problems occured in act 1 cruel ledge and the levels around it.

I'm on a wired connection.

Looks like you're starting to lose a lot of packets at this hop:

| ae-20.r02.frnkge03.de.bb.gin.ntt.net - 34 | 65 | 43 | 88 | 91 | 109 | 88 |

that's before it gets into the NetworkLayer network. The packet loss also carries on meaning it is not mitigation or filtering on the switch to prevent spam/DoS attacks. You're legitimately losing packets.

Also wouldn't be the first time I've seen lost packets coming out of italy into that area in ntt.net. That area is notorious for having bad signal.

I've had issues too - but if this is the attitude "Support" is going to have in regards to helping players, **** that. Definitely not interested in a network elitist who condescends the community on what is considered a broad and serious issue - because he believes his logic is law? Did you not learn in your courses on what variables are?

What are you talking about with attitude and network elitist? I wasn't condescending anyone. The post I was replying to was like MANY others I've seen where there are issues through Italy both with ntt and seabone. They were CONFIRMED issues by both parties. That was also a very old post.

If you don't want support, or someone attempting to help you identify/figure out the problem, then don't post. You're more than welcome to figure it out on your own. What we do here is attempt to provide support and give users a direction to investigate based on the available and provided data. If you don't like that, you're welcome to not participate.

It is common knowledge that many areas have HUGE infrastructure issues with their internet services.. both from a scale and a bandwidth perspective. I think many of the users of those ISPs would readily admit to it. If you're not one of those, fine. Not all situations are the same and we can only help with the data we've been given.

If you'd like support, provide some data so we can look at it. Regardless of your opinion of me, it doesn't make what I say any less valid or my experience any less. If you have more experience in this area than me, feel free to provide your own input into the problem. Until then, either help with the problem or go away. Trolling and attacking other users has no place on these Support forums.
I too, am sorry to post here.
Alas, here is my post.

I always had alot of desync issues,
however in the past they were manageable.

Since the new leagues it is very difficult to play the game,
the ping seems to spike from 30 to 140 or so, every 4-5 seconds.
It is fine everywhere else, and my connection is sufficient I think (50/50mb non-wireless).

Below I present the data WinMTR collected.

I am terribly sorry if I am doing this wrong or if I bother anyone.

Beef to the Dorgeshuun
I've been getting huge lag spikes recently as well around prime time. Ping would spike from 50 to 800-1500+ sometimes for short bursts (2 seconds or so) and others for an indefinite time until I either quit to login or reset the client. I know this can't be lag from my end because pinging google.com gives me a steady 12-14 ms with no loss. I'm from western US btw.
If you want assistance, please create your own thread. Read the "rules" sticky post for more information.
Please help me I keep getting kicked and it says An unexpected disconnection has occured after 3-10 minutes of gameplay. /:///

Please keep your issue to your own thread (the one you already created).

If it is a new issue, please post a new thread.. otherwise, keep it to your original.

Posting more places isn't going to get you any help faster.
