You don't need shavs to do a lowlife aura build.

You just need the mental alertness to mouse over a mob, see that it deals chaos damage, and turn off your health auras.
If you really don't want to use Blood Rage, you can use Infernal Mantle and Berek's Pass.

Im not sure how you can scale its damage properly while still getting enough defense. Elementaldamage percetages are pretty low and with 5% basrcrit you need to invest very much to get good dps with it

@Anyone suggesting crit... why? It already has 20% chance to ignite on the weapon...

Crit burn builds have more damage potential, but it can go either way. However, going for chance to ignite is still a good idea since the weapon's base crit is just 5%.

Reave doesn't make a lot of sense though, since it doesn't perform that well with low attack speed builds. Even with frenzy charges the weapon is still a 1.35 APS base.
Im thinking heavy strike + melee splash + burning supports.

Flicker is also the obvious choice, but with melee splash + burning supports.
And if you close your eyes, does it feel like your exalt almost hit this time~
