LOL the same thing happened to me. Big group of like 20 mobs, 5 of them were blue dischargers with the mod of "powerful crits", got tripleshocked before I could even react.

not a chance to avoid that death

So pressing Exit to character selection takes 2 whole seconds while I got killed by 6 blue puncture snakes... but the first time I logged and pressed exit to log in screen I logged out instantly...

Found this and then and then I died =)

No, that means you have too many Characters (avatars, peeps, etc.), nothing to do with your character's name length.
