Well I know people are really...defensive about this game...especially compared to D3...since its illegal or something to be able to like both and play both.
And that guy is a massive...massive d-bag. But he makes a good point. Now...the game is probably super easy if you are a popular youtuber and people GIVE you everything in game, which alone negated (imo) 50% of the challenge...right off the bat. Everything good does drop in town...its like pre-ROS minus the AH where little if anything useable drops past a certain point in game...and you must trade or expend double (if not more) of the currencies to craft it all. Half the challenge is getting those items, those currency...its why people farm. He might not have needed to do that but most wont be able to ask on stream and get a full set of exhaulted, tons of orbs, and skill gems. The other 40% of the challenge in the game is the build. He went with an OP build...made it himself or not... So roughly 90% of the games challenge he chose to bypass...then complain its easy. Mega-D-Bag. His hardcore not being hardcore...yeah but way...WAY...more people do it in this game than D3 because of the soft landing to normal league. I prefer it that way TBH (perhaps the need a better HC mode ranking system that's account based?) His major gripe, is a real one though. Just like D3 post ROS....you reach a point where you have to trade for gear to progress. Which is lame...especially since there is no AH...so now you gotta spam and deal with trade bot spam. AH was never the issue with D3 despite being a scapegoat and easy target...the issue was that gear was meant to be found via trading....same issue in POE only they don't have an AH to make it decent to do...and since no RMAH all the people who would have used it just use the jerks who spam my whispers all day with their RMT site...like D2... Hardest part about POE is that you are not hand held with skills and progression...or build...D3 does hold your hand, you level and its clear as night/day what skills you have (I do like their skill system its just easier) He bypassed that with an OP build that my guess was given to him by an expert player then tweaked, made all the easier with gifted orbs/gear. just for try, for see and for know
