New class of item rarity: Mythical

I think a nice addition would be that all exquisite have a negative effect. This would make them so that you would need to question how badly you wanted to use it. This effect should directly counter something about the item is some way, for example a shield could have amazing stats, but also lower a defensive stat, such as evasion, block chance, or armour. A claw could get you by lowering max health. A mace could get you by lowering your strength.

These are all examples of course, but this could balance them out so that it could discourage you from trying to suit up in all exquisite gear, as I really dislike the idea of bound to player or one at a time.

Also they should be boss unique drops with exceedingly low drop rates on merciless only. Or have them found in special very rare "arena" maps, which would be a mostly empty area full of high level enemies and 2 to 5 "bosses" that can only be found there which you are forced to fight at once. After defeating them you would open a path to an NPC or chest with only a single item inside, which would be a random exquisite. This would make them a challenge to earn.

Collecting a large amount of them would be very time consuming and hard to do so as to discourage the trading of them for anything less than a fortune, and therefore make it harder for a player to just buy them.

Another idea is if they are traded the negative effect is increased by 20% each time, so that it is better to earn them yourself rather than buy them.

this this is nice something else to do besides boss farming and maps the arena idea is badass
if a exquisite does spawn it should be account bound for the sake of balance and mass flooding of these nice rare items

I wholeheartedly dislike BoA. This is a trading game and it should be possible for all items in some manner. But there are solutions to avoid endless trading of the best of these items.

1. The first idea I can think of is something that could be renamed, but I'll just call it "Trade Durability" for now.

These exquisite items would have trade durability listed on them, like: 3/3 Trade Durability (Item is destroyed when Trade Durability Reaches 0/3). If it gets traded once, the durability becomes 2/3. Once more and it's 1/3. If it's traded again it will destroy the item. Of course, a warning dialogue box will warn that the item will be destroyed if traded again.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul...
Wow, this is a pretty interesting idea.

And the reasoning/lore behind can be pretty solid: the Exquisite magical fabric requires that such an item cannot belong to more than X owners every Y duration (months, years of real time?).

Think the original Arena (The Elder Scrolls) artifacts.

I like the whole idea but to not be able to trade it is to much. It will be hard enough to get great stats out of them I would still think rares which are crafted to perfection would be better than 99.999% of them but to be lucky and have one better than even a perfcect rare would be awesome that's why you should be able to trade them. I agree with not being able to craft them and no mirroring.
bump hope a dev sees this

Regardless of the merit of your idea, the way your have proposed it is clearly wrong. You really want a warning message that says "if you trade this item it will be destroyed". You should really reduce the charges by one and have it become untradeable at 0.
