I did in the patch thread. In my opinion they should set the trigger timer above 3 sek or something like that, so some dmg gems dont trigger 100 times in 1 sek.

They are objective? have you seen a 6L Voll's protector in : Spectral throw, gmp, 3x arc, cast on crit?

My brother uses that build, he has absolute no dmg nod, only hp/evasion/crit rate, as a shadow.

He melts merciless piety in 4-5 seconds, Dominus in 5 seconds first form and 2 seconds second form.

he has ~70% crit chance with spectral throw and uses a dagger with 40% crit rate + 30% crit global crit rate and 98% spell crit chance, and a spirit shield with 99% spell crit chance.

if he crits ONLY 1 TIME, ONE TIME, in the next 3-4 seconds he casts like 40-60 arcs. He is melting maps, and he is only lvl 70.

But they are objective.

The way they nerfed CwDT is beyond retarded, their main problem was lifeleech with CwDT and molten shell, they could have fixed that by adding a cooldown on the gem, 5 sec. cd would have been enaugh.

Or they could have reversed the damage that u need to take in order for the game to activate, that way it is only viable to high lvl chars.

What they did right now is absolute bullshit. I didnt even used it for Enduring cry/discharge.


Btw with cast on crit, you can activate discharge like 5-10 times/second.

I guess there is no problem that a nuking class is absolute worthless now when u can just activate those skills 10 times/second with a spectral throw build that needs 0 dmg, 0 atk speed.
But there was a problem with Molten Shell on CwDT.

They are very objective man.
yeah... I just played one map... I don't really feel like playing further.

The game got so dumb again. With the gem, the game was just perfect.
You could play the game as it should be supposed to... hack n fucking slay...

now it's hack n slay a bit, take a buffbreak and move on.

If the casts like enduring cry, immortal call and especially molten shell
at LEAST would be instant or castable while moving... that would be something.

But seriously... need to stand still for a second to buff yourself takes every
action out of the game. It super boring.

The other annoying thing is that you now need to level up you CoDT gem first
until they are useful again. (or you downlevel your 18+ gems...)

For everyone that thinks that the previous state of the CwDT gem was good for the game, they need look no further than Judge Runeword from Brother Laz's Median 2008 mod for Diablo 2 LOD.

Actually, for any trigger gem without restriction in Path of Exile.
The problem again is that they nerfed aura's in 1.0 as well as putting CwDT into the game. So apparently their beta testers let it pass. And survive ability in the game was fine which I agree with.

Now they have pretty much taken away CwDT for defensive purposes.

Prior to 1.0 a-lot of players did not need these buffs to survive the content. Now they do, this is a problem.

So if they decide to keep CwDT the way it is they either need to increase base survive ability through another means, or make it easier for us to keep our defensive buffs up.

They did not 'nerf' auras. They buffed them, if any. They did make it more difficult to abuse those auras.

As a side note, has anyone seen the new Enhance gem? Do we know what it does?

If you read my post right you wouldnt wrote this. before the patch we had auras for our defense, so we only needed to cast enducry and dont needed to stand still for seconds...

And where is the fun to cast 4 sek for a fight than 10 sek later again recast all for the next fight...
