Unable to connect to patching server

Thanks a lot for the help you provide. I had this problem a few mins ago, just ran the game as administrator and everything just went fine.

I had the same problem, the way I fixed it was:
1. Control Panel -> Network and Internet -> Network and Sharing Center 2. On the left click on "Change Adapter Settings" 3. Find your Network Connection, left click it and go to properties 4. Under the Network Tab, click on "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" 5. Under the General Tab, make sure "Obtain DNS server address automatically" is checked. Yesterday after I played PoE, I was playing around with my network and I had 8.8.8.8 as my primary DNS server and 8.8.4.4 as my secondary server. Today I had the "unable to connect to patching server", I did step 5 and PoE is working for me again. Hope this helped! |

Ran into this first time trying to play the game. For me, I had to update my firewall software (Norton 360) to specifically allow Path of Exile to run. Looks like Norton was treating it like malicious software.

Hello guys, I was getting this error and i solved it closing my torrent client. Possible cause of this problem are the aplications that utilize your network.

I had Warthunder open i closed it and fixed my problem so it probably just serverside trying to join a port that's taked

Good time for all. Don't know how to deal with this problem, always one and the same. When they release the patch, then update the game does not load, update, not downloads 9.80 MB when trying to re-download the remaining files, it fails. Then this game can be run only by removing all data updates(4.7gb), in real professionals to start downloading the source file, without the updates, it is very inconvenient. Is there a solution to this problem, in addition to the run as administrator(not helpful)? | |
" 1) this thread is HUGE and a lot of people don't check/read it. You shouldn't post your problems here as they'll likely get ignored. 2) Instead, post your own thread and clearly describe your problem and people can attempt to help you. Please check the "Rules" sticky post at the top of the forum for more information. You shouldn't hardly ever have to completely delete and re-download the 4.7 GB content.ggpk file. If you do, then you're doing something seriously wrong, or you've got some other issues. I've only had to EVER re-download the Content.ggpk file once... and it was because I was stupid and corrupted it myself due to something I had done.. not because of anything related to the game. |
