He said on stream that it's because he can't improve ST's DPS without risk dying to reflect. Voltax doesn't care about this because it converts damage to chaos which cannot be reflected. It's overpowered to say the least.

If reflect wasn't a factor, What would you change to increase the dps of spectral throw?

kaom's isnt the best its just what i had theres much better rares. Sword nodes are superior to all other in the skill tree but it should be based on what the best deal for a weapon is in your price range and pick that up. changing weapon specs isn't very expensive like 6-8 chaos so its no big deal for the most part if you have to switch.

yeah the best way to level is jsut get hp nodes and pickup 2handed weapon spec nodes so you can just swap between any 2h while leveling. at higher lvl (60-70ish) you might want to decide to spec into a weapon if you find something really good to use.

What would be a nice alternative to SA with Voltaxic? What about LA? Does it make sence?

1. Why Split Arrow instead of Lightning Arrow?

2. Why do you have two setups with one using Rain of Arrows?

3. Is Spectral Throw better for leveling than using the bow set up?

4. How much higher is the damage from the ST build over to the Bow build(s)? Is it so much that if you prefer the way melee plays you should just play that way? Also, how does the 2H Sword build that Kripp had (and seemingly abandoned...) compare to Maces or Axes damage?

your build linked in RT voltaxic must be wrong, it says you are skipping the 8% and 12% life nodes in duellist. and i see no reason why you would do that when you pick up the whole circle at scion.
but if that is the case, how about spending those 2 regrets to get 4% extra health :)

Why are there two builds? Which one is etup currently using and why?
