@Synthetyk Don't worry I've got the same situation. On lvl 56 i bought a thicket bow and spend a few orb to get a better dps. Now im 63 and I have about 1050 dps with 3,1k life. I'm looking for better bow because mine is weak. Actually I'm starting A2 on merci and with this dps it's no so hard.

So the general idea is that this build really isn't viable unless you have super ridiculous bows for certain levels to keep up with DPS?
My 55 groundslammer has a dps of 1600 with a shit mace. The rain of arrows isn't even 50% of that.. |

I ended up tweaking this build a bit so I could end up doing more damage. Doesn't really matter how tanky you are if you're just throwing pins and needles at the enemy.

500~ DPS Rain of arrows with hatred. EDIT: Retired the character. Traded for a 150 more DPS bow than what I had and got rain of arrows to 650DPS. lol how can you really compare Heavy Strike and Rain of Arrows? completely different skills....Heavy Strike has basically double the damage effectiveness and isn't even an AoE skill. Maybe you come from a melee background like myself and aren't used to running a ranged character? Maybe wait for some better items to drop/trade or spec into some DPS nodes. Also Poison Arrow seems to be really effective especially with LMP.
Anyways I've been inspired to make this build with some small changes to it to fit the gear I already have. Mostly based around self found items like Carcass Jack, some decent physical damage bows etc. I don't want to put a lot currency into this build just yet. Made it to lvl 29 lastnight and heres the funny thing I decided to see how far I can go without putting ANY points into the passive tree just for kicks. I am confused........

I have already taken this, i am wondering if i should use one of my reset points to take it off ? been following your guide step by step . how are you finding the right gear? I can not seem to be able to find any gear like you have posted. Cheers |
