What "lightning decap" if you want to remove +max res? :D

re-read my postn I said only fire/cold decap, I would let the lightning one since there isn't any other in the game on an item.

I just pointed out that hiding behind a fake account is basically being afraid of speaking an assuming your IG profile at the same time.
And this is only a game and a forum ... still some people feel the need to hide. /lol

This one is stupid enough not to be answered.

No it isnt, you are because you cannot answer it haha.

Saffell removes the ability to block attacks.
Lioneye cannot block spells.

What is the difference between blocking 3/4 of piety's attacks, and blocking 3/4 of kole's? Why is the former more broken to you?

The way elemental res work make gear check against some bosses insane =/.
And it gives much much more spellblock than the blue amulet or the rainbowstrides, even though it has a drawback, that's just ridiculously powerful in some situations.

Actually, its physical that is hard to res, the higher the hit is. And you do realise 120% spell block is 120% of your shield base right? So with saffell thats 26% x 1.2 for ~32% block, 1% less than a Lioneye has for attacks.

Not sure why you wanna keep arguing about it being broken when not a single user here agrees with you.

Attack blocking is a basic mechanism of this game, and one shot mechanisms in this games are ... TADAAA : attacks.
You can find basic attack-blocking everywhere, this ain't the same for spell block, at all.
Anyone has easily access to it.

Spell blocking is an unusual property.

Can"t you see the difference and why your comparison is dumb ? If not, I'm kinda feeling sad for you ... or actually not, that'd be pointless.

re-read carefully the last messages lol.
Besides, we are like 5 discussing the matter, don't you think it's gonna change anything ?
no.
Especially when some parts of the arguments like yours are this stupid, honestly.

Wow nice arguing, exactly what I was saying.

Fruz, considering Saffel's drawback, I don't think you are able to convince developers that it's OP item and considering it's price, most ppls also thinks so.
Anticipation slowly dissipates...
I'd prefer by very far seeing the elemental dmg spike reworked, so that one does not "need" saffell for some bosses ....

You have a point though, Saffells is quite cheap.
SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.
Saffel is used as an alternative, "swap" item, and it's used in specific situations, not as a main shield. So it's drawback almost doesn't count.
Saffel is the item that makes the difference between "impossible" and "doable", which makes it OP in specific situations. Item is designed that way, it's not intended to be permanently used as a main defense by the char.
Thus said, ignoring it's drawback, as it doesn't count, only benefits remain:
- +resists
- +to max resists
- block conversion of this single item is almost equal to the rest of the three items that provide spell block, summed; availability of using one item, instead of three, two of which are crap
Just OP.

Don't you think, that this is drawback of this shield? Maybe we should draw Saffel attention, to get his answer if such drawback was his intention or not :)

Anticipation slowly dissipates...
Yes, if he's around, he'd better clarify this. I think it's intentional.

That Slayer idiot must be playing a different game, or he has been blessed by Triple G with godlike gear because this mob is the most retarded example of overboard that I have EVER seen. I even agree, he IS worse than Dominus, and he not even an end boss fight, he is just randomly sitting in a room. I too did not find him to be impossible with my main, who is melee, but with my secondary toon, who is a summoner/caster, he was utterly ridiculous....
As soon as you step in the room, like a million of those stupid lightning traps go off and kill all of your minions instantly.
Until Triple G wakes up, and patches this idiotic boss back to reality, I would say just avoid the room he is in and skip him. It is not worth it on higher difficulties to lose an hour's worth of XP just so they can show off their love for overpowered mobs!!

It's a direct counter to necros, there is a counter to everything in this game ( but AA builds maybe lol ), you just need to deal with it or run pass it.
It is over-tuned like most of the "new" bosses are, but at the same times, that makes something that gives a direct threat to some player, that you have to play smart to beat it, so It's kinda cool also.
