[1.1.0] Spectral Melter (Spectral Throw Crit Shadow )

I have done similiar build and so far doing well. Tho I would recommend leveling with twink unique weps with multistrike + dual strike + melee splash, alot easier
im working on this build and i noticed that you took more then 100% is there something im missing cause it would seem to me that f you had 100% crit chance then you would crit every attack... thats my thought processes any way please correct me if im wrong or not

Hi,

please read the nodes carefully, as they say "xy% increased Critical Strike Chance". This means, these nodes increase your basechance to score a critical by the given percentage value.

Look at this dagger:


There is a line that reads: Critical Strike Chance: 6.8%

Those 6.8% are your base critchance for attacks with that weapon. 100% increased critchance would result in 13.6% chance to score a crit. Got it?

I started a pretty similar build on Domination. Fares good so far, though I use onehand and shield, as I do not expect to get my hands on 2 decent daggers.
One question though: Wouldn´t it be better to help Kraityn on Cruel for the 8% attackspeed bonus? Spectral Throw cannot be augmented by multistrike, so another 8% increased attackspeed would be really welcome I think, plus that would scale well with the "10% more attackspeed" from dualwielding which you are attempting. Also it would allow to use slightly slower daggers with higher basecrit.

Well, OP has already a lot of physical dmg nodes for daggers, so the 18% increased dmg would not push the dps significantly. Also, as ST has a 60% dmg-modificator, the 18% would turn into a meager ~11%, while the 8% attackspeed are not modified. Imo it is either help Kraityn or kill all, I agree with OP on that.

I like what you did here but I disagree with dual wielding because getting 2 daggers of the same quality will be very difficult late game and the dps you gain from it isn't worth it. So I recommend going shield instead. I also revised your build a little bit to what I would think would increase survivability and dps

yeah getting adder's touch would add a lot of dps but i wouldnt get mind over matter since it takes a LOT of mana you need at least ~80 mana per sec to keep your mana up an you would be missing some strenght aswell

Oak doesn't grant a passive skill point. I think you meant "Kill all". ;)
