About
This Build Requires A Dagger To Work Properly When You Start Getting Crit Nodes. The spectral thrower shadow is based around dealing tons of damage from melee and ranged attacks as soon as you get a life leech gem you will become very tanky around large packs or mobs since you will have a large AOE attack that literally melt them with powerfull critical strikes.

6L: Spectral Throw - Lesser Multiple Projectile - Life Leech - Crit Multiplier - Faster Attacks - Power Charge On Crit

3L:Grace - Clarity - Reduced Mana
2L: Whirling Blades - Faster Attacks
4L: Double Strike - Multistrike - Crit Multiplier - Faster Attacks
4L: Cast On Damage Taken - Enduring Cry - Molten Shell - Temporal Chains
3L: Critical Weakness - Reduced Mana - Increased Area Of Effect

Pros:
*Does not Require Any Uniques
*High damage and Range
*Flexible
*Does Not Require Any Expensive Gems
*Does Not Require 6L or even 5L To Work
*Does Not Need Clarity To Sustain Mana

Cons:
*Cold damage / freeze can be deadly if not dealt correctly with.
*Vulnerable to desync while using Whirling Blades
*Vulnerable To Physical Reflect If Following Life Guide

Gem Progression
Lvl 1 : Spectral Throw
Lvl 19 : Lesser Multiple Projectile OR Greater Multiple Projectile
Lvl 31 : Life Leech

Weapons
At the low levels you can equip any weapon you want until you hit lvl ~40 where you will start getting dagger nodes i recommend buying 2 Mightflay Unique Dagger and dual weild them since they are cheap, very powerfull and will last you 10-20 levels.

Are you playing this yourself, and if so, how is it doing? How is soloing working and how exactly would you gear for it?

This is actually something I'm doing now too. I'm dual-wielding daggers myself and stacking attack speed. I'll be keeping tabs on this thread to see how you fare alongside. :)

i had a lvl 52 shadow which i tried this build with i was soloing no problem even tho i got killed by the library boss -_- i was quite tanky the more mobs there were the tankier i got this build does so much AOE DMG the life leech is quite insane. so here's my gear:

keeping in mind i had pretty average gear especially the goldrim at lvl 54 i was soloing no problem till i fought the library boss.

it could work but you almost can't go melee without life leech your gonna die for sure but EB isnt necessary i just took it first cuz i was gonna go get mind over matter but it drains your mana way too fast when you are a melee char taking lots of hits you need insane mana regen to use it.

I am playing with this build at level 75. IT is pretty fun, I am only running wit ha 5 link and a level 9 spectral throw gem so dps around 3.7k on tooltip with my power charges. Hopefully gets a little better, but stuff still dies!!

4.2k tooltip now, my gear is nothing amazing. decided to drop my life leech gem from the 5L and try a CArnage heart, seems to work!
