How much currency do you spend rerolling maps?

The reason its.expensive now, is because there are mods you MUST have. It's easier to get high IIQ than specifically +maze. Any map 65 and above the can roll maze, must have it.


Until they fix the difficulty of maps, and how IIQ is calculated, meaning, more IIQ should give more maps no matter what, I say they siouldnt focus on any other problems. Yet.
60-64 trans, 10-40 alts (spent 120 alts on 3 maps trying to get maze, didn't have any maps above 63 needed maze)
65-66 alch, 1-2 chaos (just as long as it isn't awful and get one of the good mods)
67+ 4 chisels, alch and 1-20 chaos. Looking for two good mods

I use 1 trans + a few alts, just to avoid some mods.

If it's maze and +area great, if not I can settle with the bonus q from map mods.

I currently don't spend any other than alts because im not gonna waste countless gcps on maps like i did last ladder. For what, only to grind more maps and see your exp bar rise 1% for every gcp you put into this system. I also know other players in the top 5 last ladder that no longer have interest in that kind of endgame and rather just screw around the with the game MFing/crafting etc.

Like someone else said, not everyone gives a shit that much to get lvl 1s to bring along with them to boast to everyone how many orbs they have to roll maps with, and what high level maps they are doing today.

The map system works great and fine right now, for its first iteration, but GGG are going to have to iterate hard on it during OB:

-Rebalancing the effect of maze
-Rebalancing the return of maps vs currency expected to be used on them
-Rebalancing the difficulty of all maps (most notably, boss monsters in maps
-The addition of more mods which make the map harder, but also greatly improve the loot received (maze is an example of a mod that simply gives more loot)
