My question to all those people who donated fusings.

A couple quotes from the other thread

"Just looking for someone who finds joy in making other people happy and is able to help me, because if my soul mantle becomes 6linked, I'll most likely be happy for years to come and will not sell/trade it away."

Then this shortly before being locked:

"Honestly, getting that 6link made my day, but obviously if people worry about what i do with it after that it wasnt about helping make my day but about making sure i do whatever THEY want with it?

My totem build is frustrating with all the support gems because of a high mana cost and I'd only use anything i got from selling it towards another build idea anyways.

The people trying to make me look bad are childish, immature, and shouldnt be a part of this community."

It's clear you were intending to sell it and that you went back on your word and betrayed anyone who donated to you.

What I said was hypothetical, which was why I said "I'd" instead of "I'm going to".

This is ridiculous.

Your thread should have read.

"Hey everyone I'm trying to 6L this, and make a killer profit. I don't want to use my own currency, would you kindly donate fuse to me? I won't give you anything in return, but I will link you what I buy if your fuse 6L's it. Thanks in advance!"

Probably wouldn't have gathered much support....

Here's a tip, stop feeding them. Every time you reply to explain yourself they will just twist it against you. If you don't want to make this a bad memory then excuses yourself from the argument and wait all of 4 days for it to blow over. Most people won't care after that.

oh no you dont know how vicious the internet is. if you do something that upsets the community, people will make sure to witch hunt you to death.

this exact situation reminds me of a certain streamer who scams people out of $10,000 donation for faking to be on a wheelchair.

and no, this is a form of scam. this guy is pretty smart i'll give you that.

and people who donated fusings to a random stranger over the internet are just so naive.

this thread made my day.

Scamming is in fact against the rules and several high profile mirror scammers have been banned in the past.

GGG takes this very seriously.

Im not so sure. Its true they may have been banned, but I dont think it was specifically due to the scamming. For example you are allowed to do cross league trading even though they acknowledge there is a risk [that you could be scammed], they simply let you take this risk & wont ban people that conned you.

Anyway, I thought the OP was only asking people that donated how they felt if he did sell it. How many of you actually donated? I did & I am happy for him to do whatever he wants with it.
translation of the above, for ARPGFan

the guy doesn't need to explain himself, not sure why hes still trying to hold the peace. people are obviously unreasonable and thats that.

i do however hope those that are actually harassing him, if any, get punished. its clear the mods are keeping a close eye on this thread and for good reason. its a mob mentality in here and its sickening.
A whole thread dedicated to calling out a player for his action seriously. Do you guys got anything productive to do? Hell it already 8 pages nothing really profound here moving on....

but now cross Leagues trading is againsst the rules, your not allowed to trade new Leagues with old Leagues, but old Leagues with old Leagues is allowed and new Leagues with new leagues

That part is irrelevant to the point I am making, the reason for disallowing it between those leagues had nothing to do with scamming.
Fusing donators deserve it

aha i see, still i would like to ask how people can call this scamming? dont he own the item? didnt you donate fusings?

donate means your giving for free, and this does make me wonder how it can be called scamming.

Think twice.
