I'd actually prefer the vendors just sell 6L, 5L, 4L orbs for whatever fixed cost of fusings GGG deems appropriate. Then those that like to gamble could try their luck with fusings and maybe win a cheap 4/5/6L and those that don't like to gamble could just save up and buy their links.

If not that (or perhaps in addition to that) it would be nice if fusings/jewlers never made an item worse, i.e. it they generate a random result like they do now but if the result is worse than what is already on the item then the item is unchanged. This would let you gamble on items you use. Chromatics could work this way too; stick a bunch of gems into the colors you want to lock and if the chromatic doesn't randomly generate the correct color combo for the locked sockets the colors of the item are unchanged). This would encourage gradual improvement of items instead of either sticking it in your stash until it is perfect or hoarding currency to burn hundreds or thousands of orbs at a time.

You spectacularly missed the point, but the reality is if he is telling the truth this post does show that RNG is broken.

I usually put one fuse into every decent based 6 socket I've found. So ya it took me one fuse two times to get a 6 link

over 140 for my last 5l, but at least it was on a Shav. Can we has sum luck?

Eff fusings. Yall talking about how you've 6-linked in way less fuses than I've burned in my utterly fruitless quest to five link something. My current system: altoholic all the blues/non-chaos-formula rares for fuses. Burn fuses fruitlessly on current 6S gear. Trade for upgraded gear anytime the chaos I don't touch allow it.

Have upgraded my bow three times since level 50. I'm now level 78, still using a 6s 3L lioneye's. Have burnt every fuse I've earned in all 28 levels, plus everything I've earned leveling three alts to the mid-40s, and not gotten better than a 4L.

Crafting? Hah. Gambling? Double-hah. This is neither. This is a treadmill.

You have no proof. Next time post some proof otherwise it can be safe to assume you are trolling.

Hay guise I fused 54 6Ls in 2 fusings. GG RNG

So it all works out in the end. A few guys get it in 4000, a few in 40 and most around 800.
