Fuse record / i broke rng

So uhm i made a topic about me 6 linking 2 chests with 18 fuses a while back, and i did it again. but now it took 18 fuses to 6 link 1 item!


I sold someone a meginords for 20 fuses, used them on it, had 2 fuses left and the first thing that came to mind : " FUCK why wasn't i streaming, again"

Yea, if you get another 6l from fusings im going to rage quit.

Thats three in what, 100?

I didnt even get mine in 4350, fuck this shit.

Actually 4 in 39, but i also used 26 on another 6 socket that didn't even get 5linked "even" lol, and of course the usual fuses to 4link some boots etc

Yea, you have just completely convinced me that this system is broken.

Im sorry but there is no acceptable reason for you to get 4 in less than 2% of what I spent and I got none.

That system needs fixing /shrug.

(Yes, its RNG, no, that does not make it ok)

The best fix would be to increase chance with each fuse used on item (let's say +0,001% chance per fuse, so after 1000 fusings you have base chance + 1% to 6L). But that would greatly expand databases so I doubt if there will ever be system like this..

Yup, the system is entirely a gamble system. :D

I really do think it should be called 'gambling' rather than 'crafting'. Definitely fits the description much more perfectly. I just don't think many players would be attracted to PoE if they felt like it was a game balanced almost entirely around gambling.

They should make it so to get a 6l you need to use a set number on it before a 6l becomes possible at all, set the base chance for a 6l once that number is reached quite high, and end this bullshit, but I doubt they will.

I remember seeing devs posting about 6ls needing to be hard to get, but this thread proves if thats what they wanted the current system is a load of shit /shrug.

In fairness, this thread proves nothing and the OP could be completely full of crap. Not saying he is, just pointing out that proof hasn't been provided and the chances of what he's claiming happened actually happening are mind bogglingly low.

Again, I'm not saying he's bullshitting, but someone made a thread about getting shit drops and he claimed he "self found a soul taker,shavs,and voltaxic", people make threads about using a billion fuses and again, he claims to have almost unbelievable luck.

Either we have someone who self found the three most valuable items in the game and got 4 6l's in under a hundred fuses, or we have a troll.
