I'm disappointed.

It's making a commitment to spend money that you haven't earned yet. Call it what you like, but I call that debt. It's something you should only do for stuff you seriously need. Sorry, i didn't mean to jump on the bandwagon or anything, but financial responsibility is something I have strong feelings about. I've had debtors get out of paying me money for what they owe because they wasted their money on shit they didn't need before filing for bankruptcy, and it isn't cool.

I've made mistakes with my finances in the past, but this game is about the only thing left in the world that makes me happy. I can't begin to explain or describe to you how it does, but it does, and putting most of my extra income towards keeping this game thriving is more important to me than just about anything.

I can honestly say I wouldn't want to be on this planet if it wasn't for Path of Exile, as silly as that may sound to someone who is ."normal", or "smart" with their finances

If the highlighted part is true then I suggest you start spending your new income on some professionel help and when you get your life straight you could begin thinking of supporting with big $ to GGG...

I dont write this to be mean.

I'm not gonna waste money on something I don't need just because I don't fit into the "normal" spectrum of society.

POE is a constantly evolving game, so expect balance changes, buffs and nerfs STILL!

Not even out of debt, but already planning the next debt to get into?

It's not debt if I'm paying cash.

Uhh. What?

Debt is debt. Doesn't matter if it's cash, credit, or shiny rocks.

If you owe money you don't have, that is debt.

Almost no Debt is 100% too much debt to be spending over $10,000 on a Video Game.

This.
I don't belive in the story of debts..

It is nearly impossible for us to ponder if this is a good idea for the OP or not. Unexpected things can happen all the time (good or bad), so just be sure that it will work out and think about some worst-case scenarios in advance to be prepared.

As for the monster: A treasure goblin like in D3 would be awesome.
And kill so many greedy characters. :-D
I'm not going to tell you how to handle your money, ARPG. It's far from my place and one can only assume that you're a grown man/woman and prepared to deal with the consequences of your choices, whatever they may be.

That said, I'm extremely curious what kind of job you found that will all but instantly take you from being on the verge of bankruptcy to being "almost" completely debt free and having twelve and a half grand to throw at a video game.
