General Discussion - I'm disappointed. - Forum

If a unique item costs $1000 and we value an hour of GGG labour at $40 and hour on average(low maybe?) then we're looking at the total amount of time to design and implement a new unique just to break even at 25 hours. I could see some of the more straightforward uniques maybe coming in under this. But really, from what I've seen with the concept art, and the balance wars, testing etc. I would doubt that they make money on most of them. GGG in general takes a very conservative approach to receiving funding from the player base I think.
