Danskere: PM mig, hvis I har brug for en guild.

I remember joining cow/baal/etc groups where it would be something like "Super Cow Runs All Day #1".
Then 8 hours later, and dozens of different random group member changes later, it was #100+. Nothing has ever compared to that. |

Endgame was always making the next character.

" This. For d2, my favourite mod was Hell Unleashed, it had some optional uber bosses with fixed rewards for "endgame", but to be honest i don't know (and i think most players don't) what "endgame" really means... What it is really? If you reach the level cap, get all the good items, beat all the bosses in the game, what should you do? They can make additional maps and optional bosses, you will beat them in 1 day max, then what will you do again? Currently you beat Piety at ~70, soon we'll get the Sceptre of God too but after you defeat that boss you are "done" with the game, maps are optional, you can grind for max lvl and better items, but what for? If you were already powerful enough to defeat the last boss, there is no real reason to play that char anymore. And yes: i am a huge arpg fan, i know the reason is to grind for better gear, more lvl, etc, but if this is the answer then what endgame you really expect from this game, especially if you're not interested in pvp matches? "[/quote] When you had the gear you wanted, PvP was more a matter of rock paper scissors than it was a test of skill. If you matched the right build against another build it was hard to lose. Items weren't really an end game once you had them all. For me, it was making odd ball builds and running them through all the challenges. For example - Zero point characters (no stats, no skills) were an interesting challenge for a little while. I never did figure out how to make a Whirlwolf, but that would have been fun. Median XL had more of an end game factored in. Completing all the challenges was not easy. "The only legitimate use of a computer is to play games." - Eugene Jarvis
