Corporate Membership and Support
Some of my friends and I wanted to buy a supporter pack for our company.
Will we be able to design our monster or unique item so that it reflects the qualities that best our corporate vision. We were hoping to design an armour with our logo on it, or a monster with a unique sound effect that refers to our website. Nothing fancy, each one of us on the board would be willing to purchase a Ruler Support Pack to make this happen. Sincerely, Acme Anvil and Rocket Shoe Corporation. |

I understand that this post is sarcastic and refers to the Razer Footprints. We have listened to the feedback from the community members who felt that they don't fit into our world. The footprints are not the first step in a slippery slope - they're as far as we're willing to go. I'm sorry to everyone who was upset by them, that wasn't the intention.

Am I the only person who doesn't care if a town is filled with logos and flags and footprints with ads?
If it generates more content in dungeons/more gems etc i am all for ads. The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG

I don't think an apology is necessary but I think was very valiant and humbling on your part. The footprints do not take away from the enjoyment of the game which is all that matters to me :)

" I didn't care either. I'm sure there's lots of others who didn't care. We didn't spam the forums however. IGN- Shaeyaena

Thanks Chris. While I did not mind the footprints or the product placement at all, I still very much appreciate you taking time to read the feedback and seriously considering the views of those who did mind.
This, again, sets you apart from many others. Kudos, and thanks again for this wonderful game and company! | |
As many things as there are about this game that I just simply outright despise, the foot prints are simply not one of them. But I admit it's not a good move. I always think of the Sims when EA put in advertising from companies inside the game and how much negative press that recieved.
Unfortunately, PoE is going to need extra financial support if it plans to stay alive most likely as a free to play game with very little incentive to ever spend a dime on it. I don't want PoE to die like dungeon runners did. That would be extremely sad. If I have to deal with a few in game ads to prevent that, I'll suck it up. |

Don't pay attention to the children Chris. They will get over it, and find something new to complain about next week.

"There are lots of people who do care though. I want to come back to PoE when GGG releases new content and skills and I don't want to come back to a 'Walmartclast' and fight in the new 'Red Bull Arena'. I'm very glad to hear GGG doesn't plan to repeat this mistake. PoE needs better social features... and more cats! Last edited by Col_Jessep#1925 on Sep 4, 2013, 12:02:00 AM
