How the fuck can you compare GOLD with SHIT? How the fuck can you compare HARDCORE with CASUAL? How the fuck can you compare OLD SKOOL with NewshitSchool? How the fuck can you compare PLAY to WIN with PAY/CRY to WIN? How the fuck can you compare ARPG with ARCADE-NO-BRAIN-PG? How the fuck can you compare those shitty fanboy streamer/reddit/crappy views and make an opinion? And How STUPID you are that you paid for CB Gold Support and now you QUIT? My guess is that you did wrong as a teenager and playing the wrong game here... If I may, I believe the problem with your argument isn't that PoE was inspired by Blizzard's D2, it was. The problem is you seem to want us to defend wanting to play Poe over D3. The reason we are here is because we want to play this game. Its that simple. Want to play D3 instead? Go right ahead. Want to play both? Hope you have fun. It isn't one or the other. I play other games as well as PoE. What does that mean? It means I can enjoy more than one game at a time. But for us PoE fans, your thread is nothing but a troll post. Theres a difference between inspiration and directly taking content from another game because its stealing your thunder. d1/d2 were inspired by other games, and inspired many more games themselves. The only thing you could really say POE copied from d2 is sockets and using the term "act 1, Act 2" etc, they could of used "Chapters" but then that would be copying someone else right? I played a shit load of d2 and still think its probably the best ARPG ever, but its annoying to see d3 trying to take one of the unique aspects out of poe and add it to d3 in an effort to save their game and reputations.
